Mr. Sithu is a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist with extensive expertise in mental health and psychological well-being. He provides compassionate, evidence-based psychological care, supporting patients through a broad range of emotional, behavioural, and interpersonal challenges.
He is a Fellow of the WA Society for Medical Hypnosis and a member of the College of Organisational Psychologists, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional development and high standards of psychological practice.
Mr. Sithu has a broad range of clinical interests. His special interests include addiction, cross-cultural psychology, general adult psychology, pain management, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), refugee mental health, relationship counselling, and relationship stress and family dynamics.
His experience in cross-cultural psychology and refugee mental health enables him to work sensitively with people from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds, recognising the important role that culture, life experience, family, and community can play in psychological well-being.
Mr. Sithu is dedicated to providing empathetic and evidence-based psychological care tailored to each individual’s needs. He takes a collaborative approach to treatment, creating an environment where patients can feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey.
A key part of his approach is empowering patients to develop practical tools and strategies that can help them better understand and manage their mental health. His focus is not only on addressing immediate concerns, but also on helping patients build resilience and develop skills that support their longer-term psychological well-being.
Through his compassionate and individualised approach, Mr. Sithu aims to provide patients with the understanding, confidence, and support they need to make meaningful and sustainable improvements to their mental health.
