General Information

 

Q: Where is Burslem Medical Centre located?
A: We’re located at Unit 1, 201 Burslem Drive, Maddington, WA 6109.

Q: What are your opening hours?

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
    Closed on public holidays.

Q: Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?
A: Yes, our clinic is fully wheelchair accessible, including parking.

Q: Do you have onsite parking?
A: Yes, we provide free parking for patients.

 


Appointments & Bookings

Q: How do I book an appointment?
A: Appointments can be made online via our Book Now page or by calling us at (08) 9452 0300.

Q: Can I walk in without an appointment?
A: Walk-ins are not accepted at this time. All patients must have a booked appointment.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel?
A: If you cancel your appointment with less than 2 hours’ notice or do not attend, a cancellation fee will apply. This will be emailed to you and must be paid within 14 days.

 


Fees & Billing

Q: What is your billing policy?
A: We are a mixed billing practice.

  • Bulk billing is available for children under 16 and concession card holders.

  • Standard consultations are $50, and long consultations are $85.

Q: Do you accept Medicare?
A: Yes, we accept Medicare and can process your rebate on your behalf.

Q: Do you accept private/overseas patients?
A: Yes. Private patients, including overseas students without Medicare, are welcome but must pay full appointment fees.
We also accept Allianz Overseas Health Insurance for eligible patients without Medicare.

 


Medical Services

Q: What services do you offer?
A: Our services include:

  • General consultations and chronic disease management

  • Mental health support and care plans

  • Women’s health, antenatal care, and family planning

  • Children’s health and immunisations

  • Skin checks and minor procedures

  • Travel health and vaccinations (including flu and COVID-19)

Q: Is pathology available onsite?
A: Yes. Western Diagnostic Pathology is located onsite, just to the left of the reception entrance.

After-Hours & Emergencies

Q: What should I do in an emergency?
A: In life-threatening situations, please call 000 or go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Q: Do you offer after-hours care?
A: Yes. For after-hours assistance, contact our locum service at 137 425 or 1300 644 483.
