Free Vaccinations at Burslem Medical Centre
At Burslem Medical Centre, we believe prevention is better than cure — and we’re committed to protecting our community with accessible, no-cost vaccinations for eligible patients.
✅ Current Free Flu Vaccine (May–June of each year)
As part of the WA Department of Health Free Influenza Vaccine Program, everyone aged 6 months and older can now receive the flu vaccine free of charge, even if you don’t have a Medicare card.
Eligible groups include:
-
Children aged 6 months to 11 years
-
Adults aged 65 and over
-
People with medical risk factors (5–64 years)
-
Those experiencing homelessness or in congregate living

All visitors and temporary residents — even without Medicare!
Participating clinics and pharmacies must not charge for the vaccine. Some GPs may charge a consultation fee — but at Burslem Medical Centre, we aim to keep your care affordable and transparent.
