Dr. Nick Smith

Dr. Nick Smith is a highly experienced and compassionate General Practitioner who has been proudly serving the Maddington and South West Metropolitan communities for over 30 years. He is known for his collaborative, patient-focused approach to care, and his deep knowledge across a wide range of medical disciplines.
Dr. Smith completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Bristol in 1982. He began his medical career in England, where he gained valuable experience across multiple specialties, including general medicine, surgery, accident and emergency (A&E), and ophthalmology. He also spent time working in Bermuda, and developed extensive expertise in psychiatry and general practice.
In 1996, Dr. Smith relocated to Australia, where he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Since then, he has worked in both hospital and community settings — including roles at Campbelltown Hospital (A&E and ostomy care) and in the Department of Medicine at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).
Dr. Smith has a particular interest in Men’s Health and Aged Care, and brings decades of clinical knowledge, warmth, and a down-to-earth manner to his practice.
