As of 1st of November 2025, Medicare introduced new program called The Bulk Billing Practice Incentive with funding of $7.9 billion dollars to expand bulk billing eligiblity to all Medicare cardholders, to make healthcare in Australia more accessible and reduce out-of-pocket costs.
This means no out-of-pocket costs for standard medical consultations covered by the Australian Government — regardless of your age or concession status when seeing your doctor at Burslem Medical Centre.
